Trivia[]
- Except the Nitrome Bar universe which Yellow001 comes from, all the associated universes in Test Subject: Into the Micro-verse are created by Markus Heinel who has worked at Nitrome for 10 years.
- The brown enzyme used to be introduced as a main character in the first edition, but later, Yellow took its place.
- Yellow had used to be configured as an alien invader in late 2011, before the author joined Nitrome Bar eventually in early 2017.
- The author used to come up with an idea about flame enzymes because the author was quite willing to be a character who can take control of fire in games. He liked firing so much.
- The second stage, Sewer System, refers a stage in an indie game called ICEY which is famous in China, and a stage in another game called Super Cat Tales 2 by Neutronized. Also, the boss located in Sewer System refers the second boss in Neutronized's first browser game, Ghosts Stole My Puppy.
- The fourth stage, test unit in Swima industries, refers the gameplay of Tiny Castle, the first game published after the author found Nitrome.com, to ensure that these 6 level have not too short progresses.
- It is obvious that the current name of this game refers the movie, Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse.
